Gardner & Gardner Communications was established in 1995 as a marketing communications firm involved in:

  • Corporate sponsorship solicitation (sports, agricultural, turf & ornamental industry)

  • Marketing Communications (public relations/public affairs)

  • Publishing (writing, editing, marketing)

  • Musicianship (managing/performing in a ‘60s-‘70s rock/pop horn band: Little Chicago).

  • Volunteer board positions in sports, fine arts and literacy disciplines.

 

During the company’s career, it represented such national/international clients as:

  • Syngenta (agricultural and turf & ornamental divisions for 20+ years)

  • Wells Fargo (sports marketing for 30 years)

  • Minnesota State High School League (sports marketing for 30+ years)

  • Served as executive director of several agricultural membership associations in the livestock and dairy industry.

  • Created the Turf & Ornamental Communicators Association and managed the group for 30+ years.

  • Managed two agricultural communications organizations, each for almost two decades: The Agricultural Communicators Network (formerly American Agricultural Editors’ Association) and the Agricultural Relations Council.

Today, owners Den and Sandy Gardner accept clients for various consulting assignments in each of the subject areas listed above.  Den is more-or-less semi-retired, and Sandy is retired.
